Madeinmada, trading as Car Rental Madagascar, is a company registered in Madagascar RCS : 2023 B 01183 providing car rental in All Madagascar for individuals, for families, for freed adventurers, for companies, for groups, for businessmen, for officials, for missionaries, for travelers, for tourists.

Confirming a rental or booking with Madeinmada means that You, the Renter, have read, fully understood and agree the terms and conditions described here below and to the information written.

As ‘’Renter’’, You must be at least 21 years old and have the ability to sign the Rental Agreement on behalf of yourself or the group or the company or the ngo you represent.

1- The Renter and consorts must have a valid and compliant passports and visas if they are not Madagascar citizen.

2- The “Rental Agreement” means the current terms and conditions made between You, the Renter and Madeinmada, once signed.

3- The ‘’Driver ’’ means the person driving the car, appointed by Madeinmada.

4- “Vehicle” means the vehicle which is rented by you, as described in your online request and provided by Madeinmada.

5- In addition to the vehicle, the following are provided together  with the car : spare tire, tools, the car papers and documents, accessories as well as equipments.

6- Equipments may be camping gear, child seats, gps units, as specially requested by the Renter.

7- The Renter shall return the Vehicle on the agreed date, as specified in your online reservation form, before 7:00 PM, unless Madeinmada has specifically agreed otherwise.

8- No refunds shall be given for early returns.

9- The Vehicle shall be operated by the Madeinmada driver only. The driver is at the entire convenience of the Renter with respect of the current terms and conditions

10- Any losses or serious damages of equipments shall be charged to the Renter at replacement value.

11- The Vehicle is rented with a full tank of fuel and shall be returned to Madeinmada with a full tank in order to prevent refueling charges.

12- The Renter is required to fill up on fuel only at larger gas stations in towns only, such as Jovena, Shell and Total in order to prevent serious damage of the vehicle’s engine due to low quality and purity of the fuel.

13- Madeinmada strongly recommends to drive ONLY from early morning,  daytime and early evening time, especially on the national roads.

14- Madeinmada must be informed, prior to the start date, about the Renter’s itineraries and travel plan, the same will be written in the detailed invoice.

15- In case of a mechanical breakdown (a) if the car is in Antananarivo, a replacement vehicle will be provided within 2 hours. (b) If the car is outside Antananarivo, and if the vehicle cannot be repaired within 24 hours, a replacement vehicle will be provided by Madeinmada on the shortest term possible. Taking into account that replacement vehicles have to come from Antananarivo.

16- Madeinmada strongly recommends tourists and expatriates to contract travel insurance from their home country.

17- Insurance provided by Madeinmada will cover the car and the third party liabilities.

18- Personal injuries of the Renter and consorts are not covered and fall under the Renter medical and travel insurance.

19- Payment : Deposit of 25% of the total amount if the reservation is made more than 2 weeks before start. And the balance must be paid at least before the start date. Otherwise, 100% before the start date.

20- Long and mid-term rentals are monthly prepaid.

21- Payment methods availlable are : bank transfer, credit card, payoneer online portal, mobile money, cash.

22- In the event of a problem, the Renter must at all times raise any matter with the representative point of contact of Madeinmada so that it can be resolved as soon as possible.

23- The keywords are the instructions of the Madeinmada representative.

24- In all disruptive conditions of the group such as behavior, health, performance, etc., Madeinmada may disqualify such participant(s).

25- Madeinmada can exclude and declines all liability if a customer performs illegal acts or does not respect the dignity of the human being without any refund.

26- The Renter is free, as a good father, to arrange the trip as he wants in order to meet his main objectives and discuss all possibilities with the driver. Madeinmada  declines all responsibility in the event of a delay or missed national and/or international flights.

27- The current terms and conditions, once signed by the Renter, will be totally subject to Malagasy law.

(a) If the Renter cancels 15 days or more before pick up time, the Renter pays nothing or gets 100% refund of what you have already paid less the bank fees.

(b) If the Renter cancels within the 14 days before pickup time,  the 25% prepaid are not refundable or  the renter will  get the 75% refund if already paid in full.

(c) In case of non-payment of balance, the car rental is cancelled with no refund.
